Hooray! Kate & Jarrod’s gorgeous country wedding was featured on Polka Dot Bride this morning. Aren’t they just the cutest??
Confetti. Who doesn’t love confetti?! That’s a rhetorical question because the answer is EVERYONE. And this stunning wedding had it. We were digging confetti out of our camera bags for weeks after but I’m sure you’ll agree it was worth it.
Bree and Theo decided to put a modern spin on a traditional wedding, and they just got the perfect balance between the two. Elegant colourful details on top of a gorgeous church ceremony, a stunningly styled reception at Circa in St Kilda all topped off with dancing. So much dancing.
This couple are 2 of the sweetest people we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Completely relaxed and yet they pulled together this amazing event at the Mingela Homestead, which just quietly has one of the most dramatic and beautiful backdrops imaginable. The golden hills and setting sun behind gumtrees were the perfect backdrop to this Australia Day wedding.
Full of flowers, bunting, rose petals and bright coloured chairs, Kate and Jarrod created the most colourful and fun wedding. Chef Jarrod lovingly made their incredible cake himself, and Kate left Jarrod a letter and presents to open just before the ceremony. The love they have for each other just jumps out of these shots.
Jade and Carl were our first booking of this summer and in true Melbourne form, no-one knew what the weather was going to do on the big day. This lovely couple were so blessed to have the sun break through just prior to the ceremony on the balcony of the Ranelagh Club and stick around while their guests enjoyed laidback drinks and we snuck off for some post ceremony photos of the bridal party.
Their wedding had the elegance of a traditional family wedding but Jade had set up beautiful personalised little details all around the venue, from the chalkboard welcome sign to the lace and mason jar tealight holders and the guests had a blast with the Photobooth and candy buffet table. It was such a fun wedding to be part of.

Nicola & Andrew created the most incredible, warm and family focused wedding we’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. Absolutely bursting with vivid yellows and blues, this fun backyard wedding was such a blast.
The amount of personal DIY details helped to create an amazing atmosphere to the family’s backyard – hand stitched rosettes for the bridal party and guests, letterpress invitations designed by the groom, vintage sun dresses, the sweetest bunting and flowers styled by a friend of the bride. Check out that cake – topped with 2 darling little foxes, our favourites obviously!
